Open vacancy: ESF+ project expert

Moniheli is looking for an expert for an ESF+ group project on the inclusion of migrants. The three-year (2024-2027) cooperation project will be led by THL, and Moniheli will be responsible for the implementation of the migrant sub-project.

We are looking for an employee to carry out a sub-project of Moniheli focusing on the development of services for immigrants. The core of the task is to promote collaboration between welfare areas and NGOs and to enhance the participation of immigrants in public services. The position starts in April-May as agreed and ends on February 28, 2027.

Job description:
  • Implementing the Moniheli sub-project for the development of services for immigrants.
  • Close collaboration with sub-implementers, especially welfare areas, multicultural organizations, and the main project implementer (THL).
  • Participation in mapping work, conducting interviews, and conducting literature reviews.
  • Preparation of reports and manuals describing good practices and models for improving services for immigrants.
  • Participation in advocacy work as needed.
  • Reporting on the project together with Moniheli's core activities.

We expect from the applicant:
  • Relevant higher education degree or equivalent experience in the field.
  • Experience in project work and/or social service development.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Proactive and self-directed work approach.
  • Excellent IT skills.

Considered as an advantage:
  • Experience in a multicultural work environment and/or immigrant work.
  • Research methodology skills.
  • Experience in ESF or EU projects.
  • Proficiency in languages other than Finnish and English.

Language proficiency required for the position:

The position requires the ability to communicate in Finnish and English. One language must be at level C1, and the other at level B2. You can provide further details about your language skills in your application. Language requirements are specified according to the CEFR scale.
