What is blood pressure?
Blood pressure is caused by the force exerted by the flow of blood against the walls of the arteries. Blood pressure is measured in two stages: systolic (measured during heartbeats, when blood pressure is at its highest) and diastolic (measured between heartbeats, when blood pressure is at its lowest). Normal blood pressure is 120/80.

Low blood pressure: symptoms, factors, consequences, and intervention
Blood pressure is low when it is below 90/60. However, values vary from person to person and people react differently. In some cases, low blood pressure can be life-threatening. Symptoms of dangerously low blood pressure include dizziness, fainting, blurred vision, nausea, tiredness, lack of concentration. Dangerously low blood pressure can be caused by pregnancy, heart problems, endocrine problems, dehydration, blood loss, severe infection (blood poisoning), severe allergic reaction (anaphylaxis), lack of nutrients in the diet, etc.
Low blood pressure can be treated with nutrition. Drink plenty of fluids. When you are dehydrated, your blood volume decreases, causing your blood pressure to fall. Drink caffeine. Increase your B12 intake and reduce the size of your meals. Remember to follow a plate pattern at meals.
Matalaa verenpainetta voidaan hoitaa ravitsemuksella. Juo runsaasti nesteitä. Kun sinulla on nestehukka, veresi tilavuus vähenee, mikä aiheuttaa verenpaineen laskua. Juo kofeiinia, lisää B12:n saantia ja vähennä aterioiden kokoa. Muista noudattaa lautasmallia aterioilla.
High blood pressure: symptoms, factors, consequences, and intervention
High blood pressure (hypertension) is a common condition in which the long-term force of blood against artery walls is so great that it can eventually cause health problems, such as heart disease. It is when your blood pressure is above normal (120/80) for a long time. Some people can have high blood pressure without symptoms. Uncontrolled high blood pressure can increase the risk of serious health problems such as heart attack and stroke. You can watch a YouTube video about high blood pressure from the link below:

For most people, high blood pressure does not cause any visible symptoms. However, headache, shortness of breath and nosebleeds are possible symptoms. High blood pressure is caused by factors such as an excessively salty diet, family history or hereditary factors, alcohol, tobacco, stress and certain chronic diseases such as diabetes and kidney disease.
The consequences of high blood pressure can lead to complications such as heart attacks or strokes. High blood pressure can cause hardening and thickening of the arteries, which can lead to a heart attack, stroke or other complications.
There are a variety of measures to control high blood pressure. A healthy lifestyle is key. If you are overweight, losing weight is the first step. Eat a healthy diet, reduce the sodium (salt) in your diet, limit your alcohol intake, stop smoking, reduce caffeine and stress, and exercise regularly.
Exercise is an important way to manage high blood pressure. Find activities you enjoy and aim for 30 minutes of exercise a day on most days of the week. Good forms of exercise include brisk walking, cycling, swimming and dancing.
Implementation
On the day of the demonstration, we set the table; this allows us to showcase the healthy food options recommended to our target group. In our group, we communicate quite well and effectively via WhatsApp. We had one member who communicated with our teachers and our target group, and he kept us informed. We also tried to organise free time to meet and work together, which seemed difficult at first. When we didn't have time together, we just shared a task and set a time by which we would all present to each other what we were doing.
