The tree planting event, which proved a success in 2022, will be held this year in eight municipalities around Finland. Trees will be planted in May from 8 to 12 May. You can check the schedule for your municipality in the list below.
Nature is an important thing in Finnish culture. People spend a lot of time in nature and take care of it. At the Moniheli and Martha organisation's event, participants will be able to make a concrete climate action, and the Marthas will be on hand to give guidance on how to move and act in nature. Planting trees is a concrete way of supporting the integration of new Finns. The aim is also to increase the participation of foreign-language Finns in the fight against climate change and in the debate on the issue.
We warmly welcome the Moniheli network to join the event! Associations are welcome to attend and you can also download some of the event's social media material.

The Kankaanpää event will take place along Niementie on 8 May 2023 at 9.30-11.00. Participants will meet in front of the main library (Kangasmoisionkatu 1) at 9.30 and move together to the planting site.
