How much is enough? Communications training for NGOs

Does communications feel like an endless task on your association’s to-do list? Join our practical training on how to build sustainable and effective communications with limited resources.
For whom?
This training is for associations where communications is handled alongside other tasks and there is no dedicated communications professional.
Why participate?

Good communications does not mean doing as much as possible. What is “enough” depends on your association’s goals, activities and available resources.

In this training, you will learn how to focus your communications on what actually matters: reaching the right people, supporting your association’s goals and using your limited time and resources effectively.

The training will also challenge some common assumptions about successful communications. Visibility alone is rarely the goal. A successful communications effort might instead mean filling an event, reaching new clients or getting the right people to take action.

In what language?

English

Content

During the training, we will discuss:

  • how to define what “enough communications” means for your association
  • how to connect communications goals to your organisation’s actual goals
  • the Bronze, Silver and Gold model for prioritising communications
  • how to make the best use of limited time and resources
  • how sustainable communications practices can help prevent overload and burnout
