Services for people with disabilities: the perspective of clients with the migrant backgrounds

In the webinar you will learn about services offered to immigrant people with disabilities.
For whom?
The event is aimed at individuals, representatives of non-governmental organizations, and public sector employees.
Why participate?

In this webinar, we will take a broader approach to disability. The person can have but does not have to have a medically confirmed diagnosis. Their work ability is nonetheless affected by the health condition.

After the event, you will better understand:

1. What services does Hilma Support Centre offer to immigrants with disabilities?
2. What public services offer to people with disabilities?
3. What are the rights of the people with the disabilities?
4. What is the culturally sensitive approach in the services?

The webinar is in English. You can ask questions also in Finnish.
