The association also aims to facilitate cultural exchange between Finnish and Peruvian Latin American communities and to build a bridge between Latin American and Finnish citizens.

To fulfil its purpose, the association organises cultural events related to music, dance, and other traditional Peruvian art forms, as well as cultures that have influenced Peruvian culture. The association has the right to cooperate with various organisations, produce and collect audiovisual material, promote the practice and knowledge of Latin American folk music and dance, participate in cultural, social, and entertainment events and discussions, and encourage the research, dissemination, and publication of folk music and dance.
