The umbrella organisation of Afghan associations acts as the central organisation of Afghan organisations in Finland and represents their interests. Its mission is to promote the integration of Afghans into Finnish society by providing support and guidance in areas such as language learning, education, employment and sports.

The organisation also aims to strengthen cooperation between Afghans and their relations with other ethnic groups in Finland, thus promoting multicultural dialogue and understanding.

In addition, the umbrella organisation can, if it wishes, participate in projects and activities supporting the reconstruction of Afghanistan, acting as a link between Finland and Afghanistan.
