Every summer, the association arranges camps for families, women and youth. Each family covers their own participation costs, but many are unable to attend due to financial difficulties.

Purpose and activities
The association's purpose is to:

• Promote the visibility and belonging of its members in society.
• Encourage interaction between Sudanese and Finnish cultures, as well as the diverse practice of culture.
• Support functional multiculturalism and foster the use and preservation of Sudanese languages and cultures in Finland.
• Raise awareness about Sudanese culture in Finland and carry out aid and development cooperation in Sudan.

To achieve its goals, the association organises cultural events, seminars, courses, celebrations, and educational activities.

Funding and Membership
Funds are raised through the sale of handicrafts, organisation of flea markets, donations, raffles and fundraising campaigns.

Membership is open to anyone who accepts the purpose of the organisation. You can also join the organisation as a supporting member.
