Moniheli General Assembly 2026 (On location)

Moniheli's Spring General Assembly will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2026 in Helsinki and online. The meeting will address matters related to 2025 and elect members of the Election Committee.
For whom?
For representatives and others active persons within Moniheli's member associations who wish to follow the spring general assembly and current topics in the network.
Why participate?

You will gain an up-to-date overview of Moniheli’s activities, as well as insight into the review of its 2025 operations and finances.
Representatives participating with a proxy may also exercise their organisation’s speaking and voting rights.

PARTICIPATING

Representatives of Moniheli's member associations who hold a valid and timely submitted authorisation letter and have registered via this page may participate in the Moniheli General Assembly.
If you intend to participate in discussions and decisions, you must

  • register via this page, and
  • submit your authorisation letter to Moniheli in time (read more below).

Other people active in member associations are allowed to follow the discussions, but not to participate in them.
We will reimburse one representative's travel expenses for organisations outside the capital region, according to the most affordable and suitable public transport option.
We recommend arriving by public transport. There is limited free parking in the vicinity of the venue. Moniheli will not reimburse any parking fines.

VOTING

You can vote at the meeting if

  • your organisation has paid this year's membership fee,
  • you have registered in advance via this page, and
  • we have received an authorisation letter allowing you to vote on behalf of the organisation you represent.

You can provide an authorisation letter in three ways:

  • fully electronically via VismaSign. NOTE! This requires that the person signing the form is able to use strong authentication (online banking credentials or Mobile ID / mobiilivarmenne). Fill in the form at this linkand the signer(s) will receive the signing request by email or SMS. Make sure to be in touch with the signer to ensure they know what to do.
  • as a paper authorisation letter, which you bring with you on the day of the meeting by 10:00 if attending on location(download the authorisation letter here).
  • as a scanned paper authorisation letter to jasenpalvelut@moniheli.fi, to be sent by the day of the meeting at 10:00 (download the authorisation letter here).

We recommend using the electronic authorisation letter.
The General Assembly decides on general matters by consensus or by public vote. The General Assembly elects the members of the board by closed online ballot.
All voters, including those attending on location, vote in the elections online. If you are participating on location, bring your smartphone, tablet or laptop. Moniheli will bring one extra device to the site.

ELECTING THE ELECTION COMMITTEE

The Network elects an Election Committee at its meeting.
The Election Committee is a working group that assists in the preparation of the elections of the network's board and president. The members of the Election Committee are elected by vote at the General Assembly. The members of the Election Committee shall act in accordance with the guidelines and principles which the network will also decide on at the General Assembly.
Candidates can be proposed to Moniheli using this form on 10 Mayat the latest, so that their suitability for the post can be assessed before the elections. The candidates' presentation will be published in the network before the meeting.

Schedule

The Spring General Assembly, in the morning, approves

  • the 2025 Annual Report,,
  • the 2025 financial statement and auditor's report, and
  • releasing the board from responsibility.

In addition, the spring GA elects members of the Election Committee.

  • Registration is binding; please let us know if you need to cancel your attendance.
  • To be eligible to vote, you must have a valid membership and submit a proxy form in a timely manner.

How to participate

Kalliolan setlementtitalo sijaitsee Alppiharjussa Kulttuuritaloa vastapäätä. Paikalle on hyvät julkiset liikenneyhteydet.

Sisäänkäynnit löytyvät Sturenkadun ja Kalliolanrinteen kulmauksesta, josta tullaan aulakerrokseen sekä Sturenkadun puolelta, josta pääsee P-kerroksen naapuruustiloihin. Molemmat kulkuväylät ovat esteettömiä: aulaan pääsee loivaa ramppia pitkin ja naapuruustiloihin liuskaa pitkin. Talon kaikkiin kerroksiin pääsee hissillä, johon mahtuu perinteisellä pyötätuolilla. Oviaukko on 80 cm leveä ja 104 cm syvä. Inva wc:t ja sukupuolineutraalit wc:t löytyvät jokaisesta kerroksesta.
