The pressures of daily life affect us all, and they leave real traces in our bodies and minds. This workshop offers you the opportunity to understand those traces, and to develop practical tools to respond to them more effectively.
Grounded in neuropsychology and trauma-informed principles, the session combines a brief psychoeducational component with hands-on, experiential practice. You won't just learn about stress — you'll explore how it shows up in your own experience, and practice evidence-based regulation tools in real time, including breathwork, grounding, somatic awareness, and mindfulness.
The approach is non-pathologizing: your responses to stress are not signs that something is wrong with you. They are natural, intelligent reactions that can be understood and worked with.
Participants can expect to:
1. Gain a clearer understanding of how the nervous system responds to stress.
2. Practice simple, evidence-based self-regulation tools
3. Leave with practical skills applicable to everyday situations.
