The association works to strengthen the inclusion and participation of immigrants in Finnish society through education, cultural activities, and community support.
It organises job-search and language training, workshops about Finnish society and everyday life, and cultural evenings that bring together people from different backgrounds. In addition, the association participates in local events and plans a “Friend Family” project to connect Finnish and immigrant families.
Through these activities, Suomen Maahanmuuttajien liitto ry builds bridges between Arabic-speaking communities and Finnish society. Its work is based on volunteering, cooperation, and the belief that inclusion and shared understanding benefit everyone.
