We are an organization advocating for women’s and girls’ rights, against racism, poverty, and violence. We support the integration of immigrants by providing educational activities on racism, gender violence, and gender equality and cultural events. We are Unhu/ubuntu/ntu African feminists who believe in “no ego” feminism. Unhu/ubuntu/ntu is an African philosophy grounded in the belief that we are who we are in relation to others. It is the feminism of negotiation and diplomacy and collective personhood. Our sisterhood and friendship relations transcend race, class, gender, and sexuality. Thus, we work with men to advocate for gender equality. We also work with youths or young people to support their health and well-being, focusing on racial trauma, and building resilience and support.
