We work to prevent social exclusion by strengthening opportunities for participation and promoting pathways for individuals to find their place in society. We nurture and train girls and women to become agents of change!
The core values of Nicehearts are equality, equity, community, and joy. Nicehearts ry’s work fosters lasting networks among women and promotes everyday encounters across cultures and generations.

Nicehearts ry plays a powerful role in advancing the position of girls and women. Our work began with youth activities for girls in Vantaa in 2001 and has since expanded to impactful programs for girls and women in Espoo, Helsinki, and Lappeenranta. Through community houses, our target group now includes families as well.

Our locations and primary programs by area:

• Vantaa: Girls' Space, Strong Woman support services, and Neighbourhood Mothers groups and activities
• Espoo : Community house, Strong Woman services, and Neighbourhood Mothers programs
• Helsinki : Neighbourhood Mothers initiatives and social groups
• Lappeenranta : Community house, Girls' Space, and Neighbourhood Mothers activities

We currently employ 30 professionals from different backgrounds and have very diverse partners across the country and internationally. Gender and culture sensitivity are at the core of all our activities.
