The Multicultural Association of Satakunta (SMY) is a politically and religiously neutral association with the aim to:

  • help Finnish people and immigrants to get to know one another
  • support the cultural identity and native languages of immigrants and promote the inclusion of immigrants into the Finnish society.

The association operates an International Meeting Point in the center of Pori, which is open to everyone.

We offer a variety of courses, activities and events as well as volunteering opportunities. In addition, the association serves as an expert in immigration and multicultural issues in the Pori region and carries out various projects.
