We work together with Porvoo city integration centre and the third sector in creating spaces for immigrants and local people to get to know each other. We organise language cafés, and courses for immigrants both concerning learning the Finnish and Swedish language but also to inform people of the Finnish society and Finnish culture. One of our courses for women "Our mutual Finland" is a peer group with half Finnish half immigrant women, where we discuss and compare each other's thoughts about practical life.
