Currently, White Hands ry's work focuses specifically on women and families from all Arabic-speaking cultures. Our activities include regular meetings where we offer entertainment, peer support, expert lectures on family issues, support in setting up a small business and help with filling in social security and immigration forms.

Our organisation was founded in September 2023. Many Arabic-speaking women have joined us, and around 150 women participate in a WhatsApp group with us. Our association has become widely known among migrants, although we do not yet have facilities such as a headquarters or financial support.

Our events bring together large numbers of families and women, creating a warm atmosphere full of interaction. We always strive to ensure that our activities are suitable for all ages and combine fun, culture, and a family-friendly atmosphere.

Shamilainen Syrian Arada in Finland

We are proud to present Finland's only Shamilainen Arada group, which highlights the beauty of Syrian tradition. With its joyful songs and rhythms, the Arada creates a sense of togetherness and celebration, bringing the festive atmosphere of Damascus to Europe.
We have participated in many festivals and events in Finland.
