Mission Statement (Finnish version)
HEED-yhdistyksellä on kolme tavoitetta; terveyden edistäminen, koulutus ja afrikkalaisten maahanmuuttajien kotouttaminen Suomeen.
Käyttämällä erilaisia tiedonvälitysmenetelmiä, pyrimme kouluttamaan, varustamaan ja voimannuttaa Afrikan maahanmuuttajia Suomessa voidakseen tehdä perusteltuja päätöksiä heidän terveyttään ja uran valinnoistaan. HEED toimii yhteistyössä muiden järjestöjen kanssa, joilla on samat tavoitteet tasapainoisen ja terveellisen yhteiskunnan varmistamiksesi.
Mission statement
HEED Association Finland has three goals; promote health, education and integration of African immigrants in Finland. Using different methods of delivering information, we aim to educate, equip and empower African Immigrants in Finland to be able to make informed decisions concerning their health and career choices. HEED will work in collaboration with other associations who share similar objectives to ensure a more balanced and healthy society. In the words of Nelson Mandela, “education is the most powerful weapon we can use to change the world.”
