Civil society organisations play a key role in driving change, but the skills and resources required for effective advocacy are unevenly distributed.<\/p><p data-start=\"774\" data-end=\"1018\">Moniheli is launching a new training programme to respond to this challenge. The aim is to support civil society organisations in moving from reacting to individual instances of racism towards more systematic and proactive anti-racist advocacy.<\/p><p data-start=\"1020\" data-end=\"1333\">The programme combines anti-racist knowledge with practical advocacy skills. It brings together diverse civil society actors to learn, share experiences and develop new approaches collaboratively. The programme consists of two modules: one focusing on anti-racism and the other on advocacy.<\/p><p data-start=\"1335\" data-end=\"1672\">The training will take place between May and November 2026 and includes online sessions, in-person training days in Helsinki and peer learning groups where participants will explore concrete examples of anti-racist advocacy. Participation is free of charge, and travel costs for in-person training days will be reimbursed for participants travelling from outside the Helsinki region.<\/p><p data-start=\"1674\" data-end=\"1911\">The programme is aimed especially at civil society actors working with communities affected by racism and discrimination who want to strengthen their advocacy work.
