The Katto programme aims to prevent homelessness and housing problems among immigrants in Finland. The activities are funded by the Funding Centre for Social Welfare and Health Organisations (STEA) with an Ak grant. The Katto programme helps people who have moved to Finland to find an apartment, provides basic information on housing, trains professionals, and works with stakeholders.

We are looking for a manager for the Kattoprogramme for an employment contract ending on 31.12.2023. The manager will act as an expert on issues related to homelessness and housing for foreign-language speakers. The position involves managing and developing activities, organising trainings, advocacy work, stakeholder cooperation, coordination tasks, housing information for those who have moved to Finland during integration training, communication on housing issues and project management.

The manager is the immediate superior of the client work coordinator and the programme's interns.

Moniheli has a hybrid working model, so you have the flexibility to work remotely and plan your own working hours. Moniheli is a multicultural and bilingual working community where work is done in Finnish and English.

The position requires an understanding of homelessness and immigration phenomena, an independent and development-oriented working style, coordination skills, and presentation skills. Previous experience in managing a project funded by STEA will help you to succeed in the role.

The employment is fixed-term, starting as soon as possible and ending on 31.12.2023. The reason for the fixed-term nature of the employment is substitution.
