Moniheli
In 2023, Moniheli will grant 120 000 euros of funding to the projects and activities of its member associations. Part of this amount is reserved for a programme carried out in cooperation with Diak University of Applied Sciences, where associations in need of special support develop their ideas and skills together with the students of the Project Management and Innovation course. The application period ends on 4.1.!

Moniheli supports the activities of its member associations with the Moniheli grant. The grant is intended for small-scale projects that promote the integration, inclusion and well-being of immigrants and their communities, or good relations between population groups. STEA has granted Moniheli a transferable grant to its member organisations since 2016. When applying for a grant, member associations learn about with the application process for public grants and practice how to plan and implement projects. In 2023, there are three different ways to apply for the Moniheli Grant, one of which is the Diak program. Read more about the Diak programme application in this news and apply by 4.1.!

DIAK PROGRAM PROVIDES ADDITIONAL SUPPORT TO THOSE WHO NEED IT MOST

In order to provide sufficient support to all grant applicants, including first-time applicants, we are organising, in cooperation with Diak University of Applied Sciences, a programme where associations can develop their ideas together with project planning students. In the program, students of the Project Management and Innovation (PMI) course plan, implement and evaluate the activities they organize together with the member organizations. The activities must be of a one-off nature or a single event or workshop that takes place between the late February and the end of March 2023.

The experiment is intended for member associations that have no or very little experience in project planning. The selected associations will receive approximately EUR 2,500 of funding for the implementation of the activities together with the students. The activities must be suitable for the purpose and theme of the Moniheli Grant.

The associations selected for the programme must commit to participate in the contact teaching days of the PMI course on site at the Diak campus in Hermanni, Helsinki. The exact dates are indicated in the application form. There will be an online information session (Zoom) for the selected associations on Tue 10.1. at 18-19.

You can apply for the programme by 4.1.2023 at 23:59 at www.surveymonkey.com/r/Moniheli-Diak-PMI-2023. We will inform applicants of the selection on January 9, and the programme starts right away. Julie Breton, Moniheli's Association Manager, answers questions related to the experiment (contact information below).
