In April, the OmaPolku project of Moniheli ry will organise its third cooperation forum to develop cooperation between home and school. Our aim is to help young people from a migrant background find a better alternative to secondary education that matches their strengths and interests. The Forum focuses on cooperation and communication between immigrant parents and guidance counsellors.
The Forum brings together young people from a migrant background, migrant parents, guidance counsellors, representatives of migrant organisations and other stakeholders and experts involved in developing cooperation and interaction between home and school. In the Forum, everyone is on an equal footing and works together to find solutions to improve cooperation between home and school. The Forum is organized bilingually in Finnish and in English and will be open to 30 participants on a first-come, first-served basis. Register by 24 April!
